-Eva is going to be on CBS' 48 Hours on Saturday, November 11th with her sister, Nika talking about their real-life encounter with a serial killer.
-Eva is going to be on the CBS Early Show on Monday, November 13th promoting a special episode of CSI:MIAMI which is semi-based on the real life situation of Eva and her sister, Nika's encounter with a serial killer. The CSI:MIAMI episode will air that same night.

LA RUE WINS SECOND ALMA AWARD!(Los Angeles) Eva La Rue who currently stars on CBS' CSI:MIAMI and the Style Network's MODERN GIRL'S GUIDE TO LIFE received her second American Latino Media Association (ALMA) Award last night at a Pre-ALMA Awards Dinner at the Westin Bonaventure Hotel in Los Angeles. La Rue won the Award for Best Performance In A Daytime Drama for her previous role as Dr. Maria Santos on ABC's ALL MY CHILDREN. Other acting Award recipients of the evening included cast members from ABC's LOST.
In addition to her two ALMA wins, La Rue is a two time Daytime Emmy nominee and the recipient of a 2005 Gracie Allen Award from the Foundation of Women in Radio and Television. The 2006 ALMA Awards ceremony will take place tonight, Sunday, May 7th at the Shrine Auditorium and will be broadcast on ABC on Monday, June 5th.

Eva has been nominated for BEST ACTRESS IN A DAYTIME DRAMA for her previous role on "All My Children". Eva was a previous ALMA winner for this same role. Eva La Rue will join the cast of CBS's hugely popular prime time drama, CSI:MIAMI. Inspired by the top-rated series "CSI: Crime Scene Investigation," CSI: MIAMI is a fast-paced drama that follows a South Florida team of forensic investigators who use both cutting-edge scientific methods and old-fashioned police work to solve crimes. La Rue will play the role of cold case lab investigator, Natalia Boa Vista.La Rue is best known for her Emmy nominated role as Dr. Maria Santos on ALL MY CHILDREN. In addition to her daytime role, this past season she had a recurring role as George's sister on THE GEORGE LOPEZ SHOW and she worked as a correspondent and part time weekend anchor for EXTRA! Currently La Rue can be seen as a Co-Host for the E! Style Network's MODERN GIRLS GUIDE TO LIFE.
The fourth season of CSI:MIAMI with Eva La Rue begins on Monday, September 19, 2005. The program airs at 10:00-11:00 PM (ET/PT).
